Cyber Defense Manager - Remote

Overview

The Cyber Defense Manager is responsible for the development of threat and vulnerability management, creation of use cases for attack detection based on threat intelligence, and optimization of IT security architecture and security tools.

In Short

• Further develop threat and vulnerability management.
• Create and implement use cases for attack detection based on threat intelligence.
• Identify and implement improvements in IT security architecture.
• Select, evaluate, and further develop security tools (e.g., Darktrace, Sentinel).
• Manage external SOC service providers in daily operations and security incidents.
• Conduct and follow up on penetration tests with external service providers.

Requirements

• Completed degree or training.
• Several years of professional experience in the field of Cyber Defense, ideally in threat detection, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Knowledge in managing external service providers and developing use cases.
• Very good German skills, good English skills.
