Manager of Cyber Defense - Remote

Overview

Seeking a Manager of Cyber Defense to lead and further develop our global 24x7 security operations center including endpoint security and threat detection capabilities. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in incident response, detection engineering, endpoint security, and enthusiasm for crisis management. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building operational maturity by enhancing processes, coaching and mentoring staff, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning.

In Short

• Provide technical leadership over cybersecurity incident management and our Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Own and manage the endpoint security tooling across the enterprise.
• Conduct ongoing defensive enhancements integrating security technologies.
• Engage with vendors for product effectiveness and relationship management.
• Create and maintain documentation for compliance with SLAs.
• Cultivate and maintain “defensive priorities” based on security events.
• Improve team’s ability to analyze malicious activity and implement preventative measures.
• Stay informed on current cyber defense trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in information security program administration.
• Technical knowledge of incident response and best practices.
• Experience managing global service delivery partners.
• Proficiency in developing and leading cybersecurity programs.
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset.
