Cyber Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

Netrix Global is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst for the Managed Services - Security department, for our Netrix’s Rapid Advanced Detection And Response (RADAR) Services.

In Short

• Engaging with clients and meeting their objectives regarding security threats.
• Investigating security incidents and responding to threats.
• Using Elastic SIEM for monitoring security events.
• Performing log analysis and correlation of security events.
• Documenting incidents and maintaining detailed reports.
• Collaborating with other teams for threat detection and response.
• Creating and tuning detection rules in Elastic SIEM.
• Providing security awareness insights to improve posture.
• Understanding network and systems architecture.
• Optional certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GSEC.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience with threat detection and incident analysis.
• Ability to investigate technical elements.
• Independently perform investigations.
• Basic knowledge of malware categories.
• Conceptual understanding of vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Programming/scripting skills are a plus.
• Comfortable with multiple operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
