We’re on the hunt for a Video Editor to bring their expertise to our team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the visual narrative of our content, from initial concept through to polished product.

In Short

• Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with our brand standards.
• Add music, graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content.
• Ensure all video content is optimized for various social media platforms.
• Create visually appealing thumbnails.
• Develop new video content ideas under supervision.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing and social media.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Work closely with editorial, marketing, and social media teams.
• Provide creative input during planning and execution phases.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Requirements

• 2-3 years advanced experience in video editing.
• Expertise within the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a focus on social media content.
• Knowledge of sound editing and SEO best practices for video content.
• Ability to create compelling stories through video.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• An NBI or police clearance will be required upon acceptance of the job offer.
