Video Editor - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a passionate Video Editor with 2-3 years of experience to join the production team at 1000heads APAC, based in Kuala Lumpur.

In Short

• Edit and deliver high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Assist in the conceptualisation and development of creative briefs
• Contribute to creative ideation and social-first storytelling
• Create storyboards and develop campaign visual direction
• Stay current with social media trends, content formats, and platform specs
• Ensure all assets are well-finished, on-brand, on-budget, and on time
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects smoothly
• Embrace evolving tech and editing practices
• Support the production team with reasonable ad hoc tasks
• Apply storytelling techniques that resonate with digital audiences

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in video editing
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
• Working knowledge of framerates, codecs, proxies, colour grading, and sound design
• Understanding of evolving social content formats and digital trends
• Strong collaboration and creativity skills
