AutoCAD Designer - Remote

Overview

Teamswell is a high-growth nearshore outsourcing company working for US companies. We are currently looking for an AutoCAD Designer who will play a critical role in designing and engineering the electric, gas, and telecommunication infrastructure that serves a variety of project sites.

In Short

• Creating and updating joint trench drawing sets and conduit plans.
• Designing dry utility systems in accordance with applicable PG&E standards.
• Collaborating with architects and engineers on utility designs.
• Preparing drawings for utility companies and client needs.
• Working closely with Project Managers to meet client expectations.
• Providing regular status updates to the project management team.
• Responding to design-related inquiries from Project Managers.
• Updating drawings based on ongoing changes.
• Adhering to company AutoCAD standards.
• Managing files according to company standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong drafting skills.
• Understanding of joint trench design and conduit planning.
• Familiarity with PG&E and relevant engineering standards.
• Strong collaboration skills with design professionals.
• Excellent file management skills, including CAD layer management.
• Ability to follow QA procedures and review work for accuracy.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret various instructions in different formats.
• Problem-solving skills for practical challenges.
