Overview

This position is for a Pharmacy Technician on the Onboarding Team at Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy dedicated to providing specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In Short

• Work from home opportunity
• Monday-Friday 9AM - 5PM CST hours
• Accurate entry of new and refill orders
• Handle order exceptions and inbound/outbound calls
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
• Communicate with prescribers and caregivers
• Achieve productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
• Package tracking via Fedex and Courier Services
• Perform Facility Training on pharmacy processes

Requirements

• Experience in pharmacy or healthcare preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Familiarity with EMAR programs is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred
• Proficient in using computers and software
