Registered Dietitian - Provider Engagement - Remote

Overview

As a Registered Dietitian at Tangelo, you will improve access to nutritious food for low-income families and those with chronic conditions by educating members and providers about healthy eating.

In Short

• Report to the Senior Account Manager overseeing California health plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with provider offices and community partners.
• Deliver tailored nutritional guidance through workshops and member interactions.
• Support enrollment for Tangelo in-person and via web meetings.
• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as required by health plans.
• Create content such as videos, podcasts, and social media posts.
• Present at events and webinars to communicate the importance of nutrition.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) with an active license.
• Experience in Community Outreach or Provider Engagement.
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
• Creativity in content creation including video and social media.
• Passion for nutrition education and community health.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be located in/near Ventura with travel expected.
