In Short

• Lead the Design function within the EPD organization at Tailscale.
• Manage a team of 4+ Product Designers.
• Foster a user-centered culture within the EPD team.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product leaders.
• Advocate for the end user experience.
• Define and maintain high quality standards across products.
• Identify gaps in systems and recommend improvements.
• Support cross-functional collaboration.
• Help designers improve their craft through mentorship.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as both an IC Product designer and a leader of design teams.
• Experience in B2B software in technical domains.
• Ability to lead new processes by example.
