Part-Time System Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and competent contact person for the support of IT users and systems at our modern location in Leverkusen. You will ensure that employees at the location in Leverkusen and in remote functions have a well-functioning IT environment.

In Short

• Point of contact for 80 employees regarding IT-related questions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in IT systems.
• Involvement in the provision of Taconic's wireless infrastructure.
• Perform minor repairs on hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Manage servers, laptops, desktops, routers, switches, firewalls, and mobile phones.
• Conduct security installations and distribute software.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the IT field; career changers are also welcome.
• Relevant professional experience in system administration.
• Experience with hybrid cloud models and SaaS.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Experience in automating VM and server provisioning.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Good communication skills and interest in building a network within the organization.
• Sense of humor, commitment, and solution-oriented approach.
