Senior Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Security Engineer at Sysdig, you will lead the design and implementation of security systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud security practices.

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems, processes, and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.
• Build and maintain automation scripts and security tools to improve security efficiency.
• Review code and architecture for security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
• Manage and optimize security monitoring and incident response in a SOC environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices.
• Implement and manage security for cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go).
• Expertise in securing cloud platforms including IAM and network configuration.
• Experience with security event monitoring and SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of security protocols and encryption algorithms.
