Junior DevOps Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Collaborate on designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Gain hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Assist in implementing system and application monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Support basic system monitoring, installation, and maintenance across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Provide first-level technical support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Assist with routine security updates, patch management, and compliance tasks.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in IT or a related field (internships or project experience are welcome).
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
• Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
