Deal Strategy Lead - Remote

Overview

The Deal Strategy Lead will be a key participant in our commercial processes, owning our deal desk and proposal management operations to enable salespeople in crafting complex, non-standard commercial proposals.

In Short

• Own deal desk and proposal management operations.
• Create and implement deal desk processes.
• Oversee a team of deal desk associates.
• Ensure sales teams can craft commercial proposals efficiently.
• Act as a subject matter expert on pricing and deal structure.
• Ensure adherence to quote-to-contract processes.
• Work with legal, finance, and operations stakeholders.
• Manage quote document generation and e-signature.
• Identify gaps in the deal desk team and develop hiring plans.
• Support automation of processes where possible.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a Deal Desk leadership role in a SaaS business.
• Experience with CPQ tools and processes.
• Understanding of SaaS business models and subscription pricing.
• Experience with security questionnaires and RFPs.
• Ability to manage complex deals end-to-end.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ is desirable.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to enforce process adherence.
• Empathetic to the role of sales professionals.
• Experience working across GTM, Legal, and Finance functions.
