Overview

The Quality Operations Digital Solutions Owner is responsible for overseeing the implementation and optimization of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) within the quality lab of a seed production company, combining strategic product ownership with technical development expertise.

In Short

• Collaborate with IT Quality Lead to define the strategic direction for the LIMS platform.
• Align LIMS functionalities with seed production workflows and business goals.
• Gather and prioritize requirements for LIMS enhancements.
• Manage the product backlog and develop user stories.
• Design and build custom solutions within LIMS.
• Implement and customize LIMS modules for testing workflows.
• Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards.
• Integrate LIMS with other production systems.
• Perform code reviews to ensure software development best practices.
• Coordinate training programs for LIMS users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Agricultural Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the seed industry.
• Familiarity with LIMS architecture and integration capabilities.
• Experience in product management and software development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Experience configuring LIMS platforms for seed production.
• Knowledge of database design for LIMS applications.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
