Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant will be a critical component on the GL accounting team, focusing on improving processes and controls while ensuring quality service to internal and external customers.

In Short

• Prepare general journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial data within GAAP.
• Execute internal controls and assist during audits.
• Define and manage new processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with financial system upgrades.
• Develop and document accounting policies.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with NetSuite or similar systems.
• Knowledge of general ledger functions.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Driven individual with ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Exposure to foreign operations regulations is a plus.
• SaaS experience preferred.
