Overview

The Forward Deployed Sales Engineer at Symmetry Systems will provide technical expertise to help Japanese organizations modernize their data security strategies using our innovative platform.

In Short

• Provide technical expertise in the DSPM segment.
• Work directly with CISOs and data protection leaders in Japan.
• Drive revenue through complex sales opportunities.
• Manage proof of values (PoVs) and technical demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Japan Account Executives for sales opportunities.
• Translate security concepts into business value for stakeholders.
• Support partner enablement in the Japanese market.
• Represent Symmetry at industry events in Japan.
• Adapt product documentation for Japanese customers.
• Bridge communication between Japanese customers and US teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical pre-sales or sales engineering.
• Success in enterprise data security sales.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
• Strong technical aptitude in data protection solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Japanese data privacy regulations.
• Willingness to travel throughout Japan.
