Cloud Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

Symmetrio is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to support our client, a multinational medical device company. This individual will play a critical role in providing support to the sales team and architecting cloud migration solutions to move their customers' on-premise healthcare systems to the cloud, utilizing Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be a Microsoft Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to understand clients' environments, identifying existing systems and pain points to design tailored migration solutions.

In Short

• Lead on-premises to cloud migration, designing and implementing strategies to transition clients’ on-premises healthcare systems.
• Provide technical expertise to the sales team by explaining complex cloud solutions.
• Assess clients' existing on-prem environment to understand their systems and pain points.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and data security protocols for healthcare customers.
• Oversee the migration of data from on-prem systems to the cloud.
• Proactively monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement cost optimization strategies.
• Continuously stay updated on advancements in Azure technology relevant to the medical technology sector.
• Produce detailed system architecture diagrams and formulate tenders.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to assess and understand complex healthcare systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
• Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure performance monitoring.
• Experience in creating system architecture diagrams and RFP responses.
