Technical Producer, Packaged Video - Remote

Overview

Reuters is looking for a Technical Producer with excellent video editing and production skills, and a deep understanding of newsroom technology systems and workflows. The successful candidate will work with a team of producers to create video stories for our digital clients and for Reuters platforms.

In Short

• Edit and deliver video content as directed by the team leader.
• Support the team on editing and software issues.
• Provide training on new technology and processes.
• Have a good eye for visual storytelling.
• Ensure your work is accurate, timely and impartial.
• Experience working in a digital newsroom or production unit.
• Strong video editing skills, preferably Adobe Premiere.
• Some knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics.
• Ability to provide training and support to colleagues.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
