Mid-Level Database Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Mid-Level Database Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance the Software Development Lifecycle for enterprise-scale products.

In Short

• Develop and implement new DB Postgres stored procedures and enhancements.
• Analyze and optimize existing database procedures and query code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle.
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Aurora Postgres and AWS Lambda.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies.
• Research new software technologies for performance improvements.
• Work with the QA team to prepare test plans and execute tests.
• Participate in software releases and deliver high-quality features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• No more than 3 years of experience in Database development.
• Experience with AWS Cloud and Data Technologies.
• Working experience with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to write clean, readable code.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work in the Mexico City office twice a week.
• Desired experience with Full Stack development and Middleware integrations.
