We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with solid technical credentials for the position of Cloud Engineer within our Service Management organization. In this role, you will collaborate with technology peers and business partners to build and deploy the foundation for the next generation of modern cloud native software applications and services for Thomson Reuters.

In Short

Collaborate with peers and partners to build cloud native software applications.
Work with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Utilize PaaS and IaaS solutions.
Implement microservices and cloud native architectural patterns.
Use continuous delivery and infrastructure automation tools.
Participate in a high-performance Cloud Ops team.
Engage in 24/7 rotation for service support.
Handle change and incident management for CloudOps.
Keep up to date with emerging cloud technology trends.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

3 to 6 years engineering experience in cloud technologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in a CI/CD environment.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
Knowledge of container technology like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud monitoring tools.
Strong time management skills.
Ownership of problem-solving processes.
