Buyer Expeditor - Remote

Overview

The Buyer Expeditor will support multiple contracts within the department, including providing support on the WPI Inventory contract, confirming purchase order acknowledgements, identifying order errors, expediting purchase orders, and providing general administrative support.

In Short

• Identify and report vendor related issues with products and pricing.
• Expedite past due purchase orders with vendors.
• Assist the Buyer Analysts with set-up of new suppliers including vendor registration.
• Locate and compile documents as requested for audits reporting missing items to the responsible Buyer.
• Record all supplier purchase order acknowledgements and conduct follow-up on all orders that have not been acknowledged.
• Maintain current supplier part certifications in system.
• Manage discrepancy reports for the department.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
