Application Systems Developer - Remote

Overview

As an Application Systems Developer at Summit Funding, you’ll be at the heart of the action — coding, debugging, testing, and fine-tuning our business applications, directly shaping how our systems run.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET SDK and API components.
• Configure and troubleshoot web-based applications and services.
• Ensure applications operate efficiently and provide production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in the .NET ecosystem.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Oversee batch processing and document generation.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft IIS stack.
• Build Full Stack Web Applications using modern technologies.
• Interact with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• 4-7+ years of experience in applications systems development.
• 2+ years of development experience in the finance industry preferred.
• Experience with loan origination systems is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong programming skills in object-oriented languages.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently on a distributed team.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Clear communication skills and ability to provide updates.
