Overview

Sumer is seeking an ambitious, commercially astute Solicitor qualified in England & Wales or Scotland, with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience to advise on legal matters and help shape business decisions.

In Short

• Advise on commercial, contractual, and data protection matters.
• Oversee legal aspects of outsourcing and offshoring arrangements.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 3-5 years of commercial law experience.
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in procurement contracts and IT contracts.
• Desirable background in AI/technology and data protection law.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align legal advice with business strategy.
• Clear communication skills for explaining complex legal issues.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent written English.
