Group Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

Sumer is looking for an ambitious, commercially astute Solicitor qualified in England & Wales or Scotland, with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience to advise on legal matters and shape business decisions.

In Short

• Advise on commercial, contractual, and data protection matters.
• Oversee legal aspects of outsourcing and offshoring arrangements.
• Provide legal input into group projects and initiatives.
• Maintain and develop standard contract templates and guidance.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland.
• 3 to 5 years of post-qualification commercial law experience.
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Desirable background in AI/technology and data protection.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong negotiation skills.
