Overview

Sublime is seeking a Materials Characterization Scientist to join our Analytical team to support Sublime’s physical and chemical characterization efforts, contributing to a clean and efficient cement manufacturing process.

  • Contribute to improving internal workflows for material analysis.
  • Support Sublime’s commitment to decarbonized cement innovation.

Requirements

  • B.S. in chemistry, materials science, or related field; M.S. preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in physical and chemical characterization.
  • Expertise in inorganic solid analysis methods such as XRD and FTIR.
  • Experience with method development and validation.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025, GLP, ASTM or USP is a plus.
  • Ability to work safely and wear required PPE.
  • A good sense of humor and interpersonal skills.
