Senior Research Scientist - Computational Materials Scientist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join ExoMatter as a Senior Research Scientist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development of new materials property calculation routines to further develop our Materials R&D platform.

In Short

• Coordinate deployment of computational materials science solutions.
• Develop and implement novel materials informatics approaches.
• Contribute to the expansion of our material property database.
• Work closely with software engineers for model integration.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics, Computational Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar.
• At least 2 years of postdoc or industry experience after PhD.
• Expert in atomistic materials simulation methods.
• Hands-on experience in theoretical solid-state physics/chemistry.
• Willing to work 50% on-site in Munich.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
