Overview

The Vehicle Logistics Planning & Performance Analyst acts as a key contributor and strategic resource for the planning and execution of the Logistics department goals, maintaining an overview of the Subaru vehicle logistics network.

In Short

  • Analyzes and monitors the Subaru vehicle logistics network.
  • Creates monthly wholesale targets and drafting estimates.
  • Participates in calls with rail partners to manage railcar supply.
  • Collaborates with the Vehicle Logistics Planning Manager on network improvements.
  • Maintains communication with internal departments and vendors for transportation requests.
  • Resolves systems issues and assists in system setups.
  • Creates performance ad hoc analysis for management.
  • Communicates with partners on vehicles traveling via marine.
  • Assists in analyzing carrier-requested rate increases.
  • Works in a hybrid role with remote work options after onboarding.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of vehicle logistics and operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle STARS, BI, and Qlik.
  • Strong business analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of process improvement practices.
  • Leadership competencies for proactive problem-solving.
  • 4-Year College Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience.
