Overview

Course Development Specialists play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our credit-recommended college courses. This project aims to enhance and update college-level biology courses to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry requirements. This is an online, remote contract role. All work is paid per piece. Per piece rates vary based on complexity and length of content.

In Short

• Review existing college-level course learning outcomes.
• Update overall course objectives and define relevant competencies.
• Create or revise skill-oriented course sections.
• Implement clear and measurable learning outcomes aligned to course sections.
• Create or revise response assignment prompts and rubrics.
• Evaluate existing multiple choice questions or write new ones.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in a pathophysiology-related concentration.
• Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting.
• Experience creating, updating or revising courses at a college or university level.
• Strong time management skills to meet due dates.
• Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work as needed.
• Ability to collaborate with curriculum designers to create high-quality course deliverables.
