Overview

The Street Child Deutschland e.V. is seeking an engaged individual with team spirit to serve as a member of the executive board focusing on finance and reporting. Street Child Deutschland is part of an international network active in over 20 of the world's poorest and often crisis-affected countries, focusing on the protection and education of children and the livelihood of families.

In Short

• Serve on the executive board with a focus on finance and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with German board and team members.
• Support European fundraising teams in Barcelona and London.
• Oversee financial management, annual accounts, and documentation of fund usage.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
• Review monthly financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in board meetings and regular online meetings.
• Assist with project controlling and reporting.
• Act as a sparring partner for new project developments.

Requirements

• Identification with the values and goals of Street Child.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per month.
• Experience in financial management and documentation.
• Ideally, experience in fundraising and organizational development.
• Experience in project controlling and management in non-profit or commercial sectors.
