Senior Finance Reporting Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Senior Statutory Accountant to join our EMEA Financial Reporting Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation of statutory financial statements, management of external audits, and execution of tax compliance activities across a portfolio of entities. You will collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local GAAP, tax legislation, and corporate policies.

In Short

• Preparing statutory financial statements for a portfolio of EMEA-based legal entities.
• Managing external audits from planning to completion.
• Performing US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations.
• Supporting monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Preparing and/or reviewing VAT declarations and Intrastat reports.
• Supporting quarterly and annual tax compliance processes.
• Conducting analytical reviews to identify irregular transactions.
• Supporting the Statutory Reporting Manager in process improvements.
• Providing guidance to junior team members.
• Assisting with ad hoc accounting and finance projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and local GAAP.
• Proven experience working with external auditors.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with working in a Shared Services environment.
• High level of attention to detail and organization.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
