Overview

Stream is seeking a highly experienced Principal Product Designer to lead the development of best-in-class SDKs. In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping the developer experience for our Activity Feeds, Chat, and Video APIs, which are integrated into thousands of applications worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to significantly influence how developers build with these core components and to make a lasting impact on the industry.

In Short

• Lead end-to-end design for new features and improvements.
• Design the UX of Stream’s core products, including in-app chat and voice/video SDKs.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design.
• Proven experience designing complex, technical products.
• Mastery of design principles and UX best practices.
• Deep understanding of developer workflows and pain points.
• Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products.
• A strong sense of ownership and commitment to user experiences.
• Passion for making complex technology accessible.
