System Administrator - Level 2 - Remote

Overview

The System Administrator - Level 2 provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. This role involves managing IT system infrastructure and processes, providing support for client/server/storage/network devices, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

• Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.

• Assist in restoration of files and mailboxes using backup applications.
• Work in Data Center for tape movements for data restores.

• Knowledge of profile and permission structures.
• Align resolution and ticket handling to SLA obtainment.
• Immediate long term position with specific working hours.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Ten years of system administrator experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Five years of additional experience can substitute for a degree.
• Knowledge of backup applications such as NetBackup, Avamar, Commvault.
• Certification in compliance with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Category IAT Level I (CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
