Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new distributors in the assigned Southern territory, building relationships, and converting quotes into sales.

In Short

  • Identify and build relationships with new distributors.
  • Convert quotes into sales as a consultative partner.
  • Travel 35-50% within the assigned territory.
  • Create and present solutions to customers.
  • Work in a consultative manner with strong value propositions.
  • Drive internal solution development.
  • Lead and coordinate sales and marketing efforts.
  • Train distributor sales and technical staff.
  • Participate in local and corporate trade shows.
  • Assist with monthly and yearly forecasting/reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the material handling industry.
  • Experience in establishing a distributor network preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Hunter and Farmer mindset.
  • Willingness to travel 35-50% within the territory.
  • Ownership and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to communicate with various organizational levels.
  • Morning availability for collaboration with European colleagues.
