Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new distributors in the assigned Southern territory, building relationships, and converting quotes into sales by being a trusted partner.

In Short

  • Responsible for the complete chain of sales activities.
  • Initiate business opportunities with new and existing distributors.
  • Travel 35-50% within the assigned territory.
  • Create and present solutions to customers.
  • Work in a consultative manner to offer solutions.
  • Drive internal development of solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate sales & marketing efforts.
  • Train distributor sales and technical staff.
  • Participate in local and corporate trade shows.
  • Assist with forecasting and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the material handling industry.
  • Experience in establishing a distributor network preferred.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Hunter and Farmer mindset.
  • Willingness to travel 35-50% and possibly to Europe.
  • Ownership and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to communicate with various organizational levels.
  • Morning availability for time zone overlap with European colleagues.
