Overview

As a Technical Motion Designer, you’ll operate at the intersection of design, technology, and creative automation. Your primary focus is to take creative assets from global brands and transform them into scalable, dynamic templates that can be rolled out efficiently across markets, formats, and languages.

In Short

  • Template Development: Build dynamic After Effects projects and automation-ready creative templates.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Use expressions, ExtendScript, and data-driven setups (e.g., CSV/JSON) to create scalable and maintainable templates.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver local client needs with global consistency.
  • Quality Control: Test thoroughly, debug render issues, and document key performance metrics (render times, asset sizes, dynamic logic).
  • Asset Preparation: Adapt and optimize creative files from After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma for automation workflows.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Create or contribute to documentation and internal resources to support future local hires.
  • Client Support: Explain workflows, requirements, and logic to clients and internal teams clearly and confidently.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay curious, explore new automation methods, and share insights with the wider team.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in After Effects and motion design.
  • Understanding of automation logic and data-driven animation.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize workflows.
  • Familiarity with asset preparation tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning.
