VP, Finance - Remote

Overview

The VP, Finance is accountable for the execution and management of the company’s financial planning, analysis, and operational performance for our fast-growing payments business. In this high-impact role, you will translate the CFO’s financial vision into actionable plans, leading the FP&A function to provide deep visibility.

In Short

• Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Partner with business leaders to drive revenue growth, pricing strategies, and cost optimization across payment products
• Work cross functionally to develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new products, partnerships, and market opportunities
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage private equity reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Provide actionable insights on key performance metrics such as transaction volumes and unit economics
• Support strategic initiatives, including M&A and market expansion
• Implement and enhance financial systems and planning tools
• Prepare the finance function for potential liquidity events
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with a focus on FP&A or strategic finance in the payments or fintech sectors
• Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem
• Proven experience with financial planning tools such as Anaplan or NetSuite
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial controls
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high-performing teams
