UX Designer – Business Communication Apps & Frontends - Remote

You have an eye for good design, understand user needs, and want to develop intuitive and engaging interfaces for modern business communication solutions? Then you are exactly right with us!

As a UX Designer (all genders) at STARFACE, you will be significantly responsible for the user experience of our apps and user frontends – from our desktop and mobile app to web portals for administrators and end users.

Our solutions are used daily by hundreds of thousands of users in the business environment and are essential for their smooth working day as well as communication with colleagues and business partners. Together with developers, product managers, and UI designers, you will create solutions that perfectly combine functionality and user-friendliness.

In Short

• Design and optimize user interfaces of our PBX systems, mobile and desktop apps, and web portals.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to develop innovative user experiences.
• Conduct usability tests and analyses to ensure continuous improvements.
• Close collaboration with developers and product managers to implement designs that are technically feasible and market-oriented.
• Accompany software development and validate finished user interfaces to ensure high-quality results.
• Observe UX trends and competitors to keep our solutions up to date.
• Conduct and moderate workshops to gather requirements and find the right solutions.
• Actively shape and optimize internal design processes to continuously improve collaboration.

Requirements

• Completed studies or training in UX/UI design, interaction design, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the UX/UI design industry, ideally focusing on mobile apps, software, or SaaS products in the B2B sector.
• Solid knowledge in wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Creativity and conceptual thinking to translate complex processes into simple, intuitive designs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to confidently present and inspire designs.
• An eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture.
• Initial experience with Scrum methods and the JIRA tool is an advantage.
• Experience in business communication, PBX, or UCaaS is a plus – but not a must.
• Team spirit, initiative, and a structured way of working.
• Very good German and English skills.
