The Applications Engineering team drives forwards the company’s mission by designing solutions around, installing and supporting Standard Bot’s innovative 6 axis robot.

In Short

• Design robotic solutions for novel applications.
• Travel to customer sites for installations and support.
• Create technical enablement materials.
• Collaborate with engineering to test new features.
• Develop marketing collateral for prospective customers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, software, and mechanical systems.
• Comfortable with DC power, NPN vs. PNP, Python scripting, and CAD tools like SolidWorks.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive and able to thrive in ambiguity.
