Tax Associate I - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated US Tax Associate I to join our team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their career in accounting and taxation who is eager to specialize in US tax.

In Short

• Assist in the preparation and filing of US federal and state tax returns.
• Review financial documents to ensure accuracy in US tax-related reporting.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of tax filings and related documentation.
• Research basic US tax issues and regulations to support compliance needs.
• Support client inquiries related to US tax compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely delivery of tax services.
• Stay updated on changes in US tax laws and regulations relevant to assigned work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or tax preparation (internship or experience with US tax is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of US tax regulations and accounting principles preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
