Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll/Billing A/R Specialist to join our finance team. This role will focus on the timely and accurate processing of payroll, billing, and accounts receivable tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed correctly, client invoices are generated and submitted, and accounts receivable are managed effectively. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

In Short

  • Accurately process hourly payroll and track employee attendance.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients and third-party payors.
  • Review daily A/R reports and identify overdue accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate application of employee benefits deductions.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in A/R payments.
  • Assist with payroll orientation for new hires.
  • Regularly update and reconcile billing records.
  • Participate in quarterly reviews with the Department Leader.
  • Submit payroll and third-party payer invoices via their respective portals.
  • Ensure all billing is current and there are no outstanding invoicing issues.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with payroll processing and billing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, preferably ADP.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and A/R management.
  • Experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with invoicing and client billing processes.
