Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

Sortly is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist to manage and streamline our company's financial transactions.

In Short

• Process invoices, payments, and credit card transactions
• Handle expense reports and ensure policy compliance
• Prepare and analyze AP aging schedules
• Create and issue customer invoices
• Manage vendor payments and oversee customer billing
• Ensure compliance with sales & use tax reporting
• Conduct collections and collaborate with operations on past due receivables
• Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed
• Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
