The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for data architecture, data pipelines, data operations, and platform management of the data lake and enterprise data warehouse at StackAdapt, a remote-first company.

In Short

Lead data engineering within an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
Build reliable data ingestion pipelines from various sources.
Orchestrate data pipelines for seamless execution.
Advise on data architecture and modeling.
Monitor and troubleshoot data operations.
Collaborate with BI Engineers for data consumption needs.
Work with cloud-based infrastructure on AWS/AZURE/GCP.
Utilize tools like Apache Airflow for orchestration.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience required.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
Knowledge of data warehousing architecture fundamentals.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure and container technologies.
Proficient in building ETL/ELT pipelines using various programming languages.
Highly experienced in orchestrating data operations.
