Overview

State Street is seeking a DLP Platforms Technical Support for our Security Platforms team, which is part of the State Street Cyber Fusion Centre. This team designs, manages, and supports the security tools which enable security operations across State Street.

In Short

  • Act as the first point of contact for DLP platform related support requests.
  • Monitor logs, alerts, and perform routine checks to ensure DLP platforms are functioning optimally.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of DLP platform support procedures and configurations.
  • Provide technical support to end-users regarding DLP tools.
  • Work with stakeholders and vendors to implement new DLP capabilities.
  • Tune and upgrade system components following internal testing processes.
  • Contribute to projects that improve current capabilities and drive adoption.
  • Partner within Cyber Fusion Centre teams to meet operational needs.
  • Support 24/7 operations which may require weekend work.
  • Grow skills in data security and DLP technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Foundational Cybersecurity knowledge, with experience in DLP and Endpoint Security tooling.
  • Exposure to enterprise DLP platforms like Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, etc.
  • Strong skills supporting platforms on Microsoft Windows Server and Linux.
  • Understanding of current data protection and cybersecurity practices.
  • A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment.
  • Experience in distributed, international teams is beneficial.
  • Security certifications may be beneficial.
  • Experience in financial services may be beneficial.
