In Short

• Develop and fine-tune threat detections and response runbooks.
• Perform strategic data collection and onboarding of new data sources.
• Ensure logging and detection processes align with industry standards.
• Participate in incident response efforts.
• Conduct threat hunting activities to identify threats.
• Work closely with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams.
• Drive architectural and design decisions for security infrastructure.
• Automate and optimize workflows for detection and response.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Proficiency in developing tools with an object-oriented language, preferably Python.
• Expertise in using and administering Splunk.
• Experience in AWS security and threat detection.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code principles.
