Analytics Engineer, Trust & Safety Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

Spotify is investing in scalable, accountable data infrastructure to support transparency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across Trust & Safety (T&S). As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the data ecosystem that powers regulatory reporting, internal analytics, and self-service tools for T&S teams and stakeholders.

In Short

• Design and maintain scalable, well-documented data models for regulatory reporting and operational insights.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using tools such as dbt and BigQuery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate compliance requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish data definitions and documentation standards to improve data quality.
• Conduct reviews of existing analytics infrastructure for performance improvement.
• Contribute to a self-service analytics ecosystem by designing intuitive semantic layers.
• Support implementation of monitoring frameworks for performance tracking.
• Participate in planning and strategy discussions for Trust & Safety data architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science.
• Advanced SQL and experience with modern data stack tools.
• Experience architecting clean, scalable data models.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Strong organizational awareness and ability to prioritize requirements.
• Passion for transparency and building data systems for social good.
