IN QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of every release that goes out. Sporty isn’t like other organizations that just see QA as a blocker - we give our QA team members the power you need to do your job, including deciding what is ready for launch and what needs more work.

In Short

• Responsible for quality assurance of releases
• Involved in the development process from requirements to final testing
• Testing of Web and Android/iOS platforms
• Create automated test cases for Web/Mobile/API
• Track and analyze automated tests
• Develop automated tests and test frameworks
• Improve Continuous Integration pipeline
• Write test plans and output test reports
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Continuously develop your own skills

Requirements

• 5+ years of testing experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• Working knowledge of programming languages like Python/Java
• Familiarity with manual testing for Web/Android/iOS
• Experience with various testing types
• Experience in Continuous Integration systems
• Familiarity with automation testing for REST APIs
• Familiarity with MS SQL/MySQL
• Docker and Kubernetes experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with Jira/Jenkins is advantageous
