Structural and Payload Design Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) - Remote

Overview

The Structural and Payload Design Engineer will be part of Boeing's Global Services Engineering team, responsible for developing design engineering solutions for military and commercial aircraft.

In Short

• Develop design concepts and modifications for military and commercial aircraft.
• Utilize CAD software, specifically CATIA and ENOVIA.
• Analyze and resolve design problems.
• Support internal and external design reviews.
• Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies.
• Document processes, specifications, and procedures.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Work under minimal direction.
• Participate in new business and proposal activities.
• Ensure compliance with export control and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Model Based Definition.
• Experience using CATIA v5 and ENOVIA.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools.
• Ability to mentor and lead teams.
• Experience in documenting engineering processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workloads.
• Experience with military and commercial aircraft design is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Person for export control compliance.
