Jeppesen, a Boeing company, is seeking an Aviation Technical and Regulatory Standards Industry Consultant to provide expert consultation and technical leadership in the field of aeronautical charting and technical data.

In Short

  • Act as a subject matter expert in aviation technical standards.
  • Provide technical leadership for industry standards evolution.

  • Write technical data and documents for product specifications.
  • Participate in external committee work and represent Jeppesen.
  • Support multiple aviation products including NavData and flight planning.
  • Collaborate with internal business units and operations.

  • Lead complex projects and guide their development.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation-related technical areas or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in aviation navigation data management.
  • 10+ years of experience in external aviation standards committees.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems innovatively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience leading teams and projects.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (at least 25%).
  • Knowledge of avionics certification and flight deck displays.
  • Ability to develop advanced technical ideas into final products.
  • Recognized as a job expert within the company.
