Senior Middleware/Tomcat/WebLogic Engineer - Remote

Overview

SFI is seeking a senior Tomcat Administrator with extensive IT experience in both on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves managing middleware farms and requires strong communication skills.

In Short

• Support installation and configuration of Tomcat servers.
• Manage patching and security fixes for Tomcat environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell and Ansible.
• Support CI/CD and DevSecOps deployment processes.
• Deploy applications in clustered environments.
• Configure user security for Tomcat.
• Install and configure Oracle WebLogic servers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support daily operational tasks through a ticketing system.
• Occasional on-site presence may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of Tomcat server administration experience.
• Experience in AWS environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Ansible.
• Familiarity with AWS EKS Cloud Deployments.
• Experience in configuring SAML Authentication.
