CMM Source Inspector - Remote

Overview

The CMM Source Inspector at SpaceX will perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies at supplier sites, ensuring compliance with SpaceX specifications and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of precision mechanical inspection experience.
• 3+ years of CMM programming or operations experience.
• Aerospace precision inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Knowledge of PC-DMIS and Verisurf software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings using ASME Y14.5.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to travel frequently.
